RIYADH (IRNA) -- Iran's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammad Hosseini in a meeting with Walid bin Talal bin Abdelaziz, the owner of the largest chain stores in the world and the president of Saudi company al-Mamleka called for expansion of trade cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh.

Referring to the tendency of Iranian officials to attract investment from Islamic countries, Hosseini said, considering Iran's geographical and regional situation, there are special conditions for attracting Islamic countries, such as Saudi Arabia's investment.

In the field of tourism, Iran has many attractions and plenty of potentials to absorb foreign investment, he said.

Prince Walid bin Talal bin Abdelaziz also called for more cooperation in the economic and trade fields between the two countries.

He added a delegation would visit Tehran soon to explore for more cooperation.

Prince Walid bin Talal is one of the largest stock holders in the world in the fields of media, light industry, electronics, computers, hotel industry and the largest chain stores in the world.
